Meet Our MC Coordinators

MC Coordinators develop, plan, and put together Motivation Conference from the ground up. They are dedicated to creating the best MC ever and hope to give its participants a rewarding and inspiring experience. 

Sambathany Chen

My name is Sambathany Chen. I am from Santa Ana, CA and am currently a third year at UC Santa Cruz. American Studies major and minoring in Education. I hope to pursue a future in working with and serving Asian American Pacific Islander youth who come from historically under privileged and under resourced communities. As a Cambodian myself I find it very important to give back to my community.

Anna Nelson

I'm a fourth-year at UCSC, majoring in Art and History of Art and Visual Culture. I found out about Motivation Conference after joining APISA, and I am excited to help participants get the information and inspiration they need to pursue higher education!

Stephanie Smith

My name is Stephanie Smith and I am the MC 19 Intern! I am a 2nd year at UCSC majoring in Business Management Economics. This is my first year with APISA and working on MC, and I am really excited to be a part of it. I joined MC because I wanted to become more involved in school as well help high schoolers find a path to higher education.
